Ingredients:
75g sourdough (appx. 2 slices)
3.5oz ham slices
1 slice swiss cheese
5g butter
Directions:
Place pan on stovetop at a low-medium heat. Butter one side of each slice of bread and place one of them butter side down in the pan.
Top it with cheese, ham, and the other slice of bread butter side up. Cover and check on the bottom slice every 1-2 minutes until it's golden brown.
Flip, cook until the other side is golden brown, and you're ready to eat!
Tips for accurate nutrition facts:
Two slices of sourdough from the center of a sourdough loaf from Aldi is about 75g so that's what I'm basing the weight on.
5g of butter doesn't sound like a lot, but as you can see it's just enough to provide a beautiful golden brown crust.
Any Swiss cheese slices work. I just chose Sargento because it's a popular brand.
Most ham slices work. You can look at the nutrition facts in the grocery store to ensure 2oz is about 9g of protein and 3g of fat.
Add a fruit or veggie on the side for nutrients and fiber.
