Cheeseburger Bowl

Ingredients:


8oz 93% lean ground beef

45g dry rice

50g cherry tomatoes

1/4 Cup (28g) reduced fat cheddar cheese

2tbsp (34g) natural ketchup

Mustard to taste

1/2 tbsp Garlic salt

Pepper


Directions:


1. Brown the ground beef with the garlic salt and preferred amount of pepper. Feel free to add any additional seasonings such as a hamburger blend.


2. Cook the rice using the instructions on the packaging. Most of the time I like to microwave my rice fresh for every bowl. This way you can also adjust the carb amount each time you make it.


3. Place the rice and beef in a bowl and top with the remaining ingredients. Mustard doesn't have calories so you can use as much as you'd like!


Tips:


To meal prep this dish just multiply the ingredients by however many meals you want to make.


For more or less carbs adjust the amount of rice.


For more or less protein adjust the amount of ground beef


Some good substitutes or add-ons include a slice a of American cheese instead of the shredded, adding lettuce or spinach, and mayo! These will change the macronutrients a bit so be sure to make the adjustments!
